Aleeshia Viktora

Aleeshia Viktora

Aleeshia is currently serving in our ward as a primary teacher for the 10 and 11 year olds. She loves teaching them the gospel and watching them learn and grow. Her favorite hymn is I Am a Child of God.

She met her husband at a Fantasy Larp (live action role play) that reenacts Lord of the Rings battles with foam weapons and outfits. They were friends for a while when Aleeshia finally proposed to him. They are now married and have an adorable tri-colored shiba inu named Kuma who loves people. Their favorite thing to do as a family is play games; video, board or card they love them all.

Some of her personal hobbies include video games, writing and reading. She would highly recommend The Chronicles of Narnia series and tries to read them at least once a year. Music has always interested her but has proven to be a struggle. She still hopes to one day learn to play the cello.

Aleeshia loves the smell of vanilla and lavender and is also drawn to the flower lily of the Valley because of the beautiful white cupped shaped flowers and the fact that their nickname is "Ladder to Heaven". When it's dinner time Ziti or crockpot chicken quesadillas are the winner in her house. Also eating at Jackpot Teriyaki in Marysville (they have the best spicy chicken she has ever had),

When she has some spare time she likes watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy because it's just so amazing she can never watch it enough. That being said, if she she could be any fictional character it would be a 3 way tie between Legolas (Lord of the Rings), Batman (before he got gritty and dark) or Grey Warden (Dragon Age).

A perfect day for Aleeshia would be spending time with her husband and her dog without having to do any chores (especially laundry or moping) or other outside things. She also loves any day when she has a chance to give service or brighten the day of someone in need.

Aleeshia feels so grateful for her life and membership in the church. A scripture that holds a special place in her heart is 3 Nephi 9:14 "Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me."
